MY LIVING ROOM AND A FEW FAVORITE THINGS

I found these cushions at Mr Price - a really awesome decor shop in South Africa.

I love the fabric and the colours are great for winter in Durban.

This little wooden box belonged to my Great Grandmother

It is over 100 years old.

This is my most favourite "thing" - my one in a million husband!!

God gave me the best man in the entire world - sorry all you ladies out there!!

My lounge has huge sliding doors out onto our verandah and garden.

This is a picture of my kids when they were young.

It shows each one of their unique characters.

This is a whitewashed mirrow - just love it!!

This butler's tray stands below the whitewashed mirror. I love the different textures.

The little wooden box from my Great Grandmother is amongst these items.

My lounge isn't very big and we hardly use the fireplace here in Durban,

so I have placed a little wooden bench in front of the fireplace.

The darned cat is always on the couch .... never ending layer of cat hair!!!

Roosters have been the in thing in South Africa for the last few months. I am not sure what will be next?

I love our kitchen - it's the best part of our home ... although I am not the world's greatest cook!
